Classic Buttermilk
Pancakes

Best with: Amber Rich Maple Syrup
Light, fluffy, and perfectly golden pancakes made even better with the smooth, delicate sweetness of pure Vermont maple syrup.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 2 cups buttermilk

  • 2 large eggs

  • ¼ cup melted butter

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Evans Maple Farm Amber Rich Maple Syrup, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  2. In another bowl, whisk the buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.

  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. A few lumps are perfectly fine.

  4. Heat a lightly buttered skillet or griddle over medium heat.

  5. Pour about ¼ cup of batter onto the hot surface for each pancake.

  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.

  7. Serve warm with butter and a generous drizzle of Evans Maple Farm Amber Rich Maple Syrup.

Maple Garlic Glazed Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts or thighs

  • â…“ cup Evans Maple Farm Dark Robust Maple Syrup

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.

  3. Whisk together maple syrup, garlic, soy sauce, Dijon, and olive oil.

  4. Place chicken in a baking dish and pour the glaze over the top.

  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes, basting once halfway through.

  6. Spoon extra glaze over the chicken before serving.

     Serve with roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.

Maple Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Roasted until perfectly caramelized, these sweet potatoes are tossed with maple syrup and warm spices for a comforting side dish full of rich Vermont flavor.
Best with: Very Dark Strong Maple Syrup

Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp Evans Maple Farm Very Dark Strong Maple Syrup

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Toss sweet potatoes with olive oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.

  4. Roast for 25–30 minutes, stirring halfway through.

  5. Roast until caramelized and tender.

  6. Great alongside turkey, chicken, pork, or holiday meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • ½ cup packed light brown sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp salt

Oats & Mix-Ins

  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats

  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

  • ½ cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)

  • ½ cup white or dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Beat in the maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until incorporated.

  6. Stir in the rolled oats and any optional mix-ins.

  7. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between cookies.

  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are set.

  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Instructions
